Sarah began in a small Texas town, in a family riding the poverty line. She built a career in counseling because helping mattered deeply—then met the difficult reality of low nonprofit pay, financial pressure, and the quiet belief that asking for more was somehow wrong.
She went on to hit six figures in her first year of solo practice, and then nearly burned out trying to sustain it. Today, she teaches from a place of lived experience: a practice owner, active clinician, educator, and founder who understands both the opportunity and the operational weight behind a more sustainable model.
